Warts symptomsA wart is characterized by an overgrowth of skin. In fact, we should say warts because they may have different aspects. Unsightly, annoying sometimes because of their location, most warts are harmless but only the diagnosis of a dermatologist can assess the severity of the wart. The wart is a viral disease caused by human papillomavirus. They appear singly or in groups. Most often, they are recognized by their rough and dry appearance. It is contagious through direct contact (relatively). They can appear on almost all parts of the body, hand and foot but also, elbow, knee, face and genitals. Warts can take months or years and often disappear spontaneously (2 / 3 of cases in 2 years). Warts symptoms contagionThe contagion may be directly (skin to skin) or indirectly (by objects that had contact with infected skin). The moist soil pools, public showers, beaches and sports facilities are particularly conducive to the transmission of the plantar wart. Warts can also spread from one part to another part of the body on the same person. Warts symptoms picturesConsult the doctor if a wart has these symptoms:
